Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert dominate country music awards

Los Angeles - Taylor Swift was named entertainer of the year and Miranda Lambert won a string of prizes at the Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday night.Swift, 21, capped a remarkable rise to the pinnacle of country music with songs like Love Story, You Belong With Me and Mine becoming massive hits not only on the country charts but in mainstream pop as well.She had been nominated for four prizes on the night, but it was Lambert, 27, who took home an armful of awards, including top female vocalist, and single, song and video of the year for The House That Built Me.Brad Paisley was name top male vocalist, while Lady Antebellum's Need You Now was chosen as album of the year.
