NEW DELHI, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- Australia crushed Indonesia 18-0 on Friday in the ongoing Women Asia Football Cup in India.
Australian women scored nine goals in each half in the Pune city of India's south-western state of Maharashtra.
Indonesian girls appeared too weak in front of the Australians. Samantha Kerr scored as many as five goals, Emily Egmond added three, while Hayley Raso, Ellie Carpenter and Kyah Simon got two each for Australia.
Also in Group B, the Philippines defeated Thailand 1-0 thanks to Chandler Blue's goal in the 81st minute.
In Group C, South Korea beat Vietnam 3-0 with two goals from Ji So-yun and one from Tran Thi Phurong.
