Pim came to China from Thailand as an international student and fell in love with the country. So when she had the chance, she brought her other "love," Thai food, to the people of Beijing. In the space of just a year, her restaurant became a place where many locals could experience their first Thai meal, and for Thai expats living in Beijing, it represents a "home away from home."
How do you help local Chinese staff form a deeper understanding of Thai food? And what are the challenges and rewards in starting up a restaurant in a foreign country? Pim shares her experiences with us.
