BEIJING, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Friday sent a message of sympathy to Thai Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow over the severe flooding in southern Thailand.
In his message, Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, offered sincere sympathy to the people in the disaster-stricken areas upon learning that severe floods have hit many areas in southern Thailand, causing significant casualties and property losses.
Wang said he believes that under the strong leadership of the Thai government, people in the affected areas will rebuild their homes at an early date.
